Error: Cannot establish connection with server

I have tried and tried about 4-5 times now and everytime its giving me the same response. I have turned off my firewall too and still wont work. Any help please, because i know lots of other people are experiencing this same problem...

The server was down.

Now it is back up again, so try now.
