Benefits of being in a clan
I'm still kind of new to the game and have been approached many times to join a clan. My question is, why would I want to join a clan? Are there in game benefits other than the social angle and the benefit of sheer numbers? Also, what is expected from someone who joins a clan? TIA

what is expected depends on which clan it is
also clan members are generally kind, they will help you throughout the game and you can help them too. |

I think one of the biggest benefits, particularly in a game like Regnum is that you will have a group of people who speak our same language. That comes in handy when questions pop up.

and in clan u can make friendships and meet ppl u can always count on.
in clan u can talk with ppl, usually in all clans members are friendly, supportive, open to answer u on question, share experience etc. its maybe all this only social thing but it will mean u a lot to have sometimes to talk to some1, exchange opinions about spells/setups, learn smthg and learn some1. like a little in game community in ro community.

Most clans do have banks too, where people store the looted items they don't need for their own chars. Saves a lot of money and is a nice way of getting stuff with +stats and quality over Superior.
Generally speaking, nothing much is expected when joining a clan other then being a nice person. |

I wouldn't be playing if it wasn't for my beloved clan PERL. They are an awesome crew to play with...

you get friends what more could you want
good friends friends who'll come to the rescue when your getting pwned also if your in a clan like vals you could get some uber xymerald bows to "lend" but he gives me em anyway what a great guy but most importantly you get friends people to talk to and other stuff clan= good basically not alot to be expected really or so it is in our clan other than hunting with friends every now and then but thats more fun

I enjoy being part of a clan, especially the ThuGsters. There are alot of established clans out there, some who are just a group of friends, others that organize hunts and clan functions, ours .......... great. I, like Compuondious, wouldn't be playing if not for my clan, very helpful, very friendly, clan bank, get togethers, so on ......... it helps to 'unite' the community.

Clans are also useful for finding out where the action is when you first log on.
