Elman1o1 is an unknown quantity at this point
Default the first 5 attribute points...

I have a lv 34 barbarian char and I am now creating a new char and have the fallowing thought.

maybe I mistakenly added the first 5 attribute points to str for my warrior?
extra str allows my char to carry more (no problem with the stuff - no real benefit) and also makes my char hit harder dealing more damage.
However, maybe I should have put the points into concentration to allow my char not to miss as much?
the little extra damage is dwarfed by damage of an extra hit landing...

so, which attribute is the best place to add the first 5 attribute points?

-----

Now that I am building my mage.. am thinking to add them to concentration so my spells land more often.. a little extra mana is nice, but just need to wait for steal mana spells, and like I said.. I would rather hit more often than for a slightly greater amount less often.

anyone have thoughts on this ?

Str for warriors are:

* Weight limit
* Damage
* Hit chance

Int for mages are:

* Spell focus (Spell hit chance)
* Spell damage
* Spell resistance
* Max mana
* Mana regeneration

hm anyone can correct me if im wrong on this but i dont actually think concentration makes you hit more often, the explanation for concentration is its meant to define how hard physical and magical attacks are from what i THINK concentration actually raises how likely you are to get a critical hit but im not entirly sure on this. anyone can correct me but there is nothing in game that says what all the atributes do.

I noticed the more concentration you have to more frequently you do a critical hit, maybe is just my impression (and yours ) nothing is confirmed.

Btw, concentration increases also hit chances, but I dunno if it really affects spell focus too (cause it isn't displayed).

Concentration is the only attribute which increases critical hit chance.

You are better off getting int for higher spell resist, hit chance and spell focus.

Constitution would also be an option for higher hp.
