Stat boosting for hunters
Okay, I'm preaty new at this. Basicly my question is, Is it worth leveling up stat related powers like,
Dodge Evasive tactics Arobatic Spell Elude Meditation Adaptability Manuver Eagle eye Point shot And what about the passive powers? Should they be upgraded? I'd appreciate some help on the subect who knows more about it than me.

Forget Eagle Eye, Adaptability and Point Shot. Most evasion spells are worth having, some stat boosts particularly Manuevre are pretty good and for an archer the dex passive 'Lightness' is good. If you've got remaining points, just put them on Wits, the intelligence passive (if you have it).

Why keep wits? I thought that int was for mages. Why would an archer need it?

Dodge
Evasive tactics Arobatic Spell Elude They are good in the wz and reduces the enemies damage alot and dodge is good because you have a better chance evading. Also when you are from 40-50 i would suggest putting so points in cat reflexes, it gives you a better chance of evading. int is for mages, i do not point any points in that

Dodge-no Evasive tactics-for higher lvls and not always, it suits to some types of setups, not all Arobatic-yes Spell Elude-yes Meditation-no Adaptability-no Manuver-yes and no, depending on your bow. it doesnt work on short bows and when you cast it and switch to short bow, it ll disappear. decide first which weapon you will use. (maneuver) Eagle eye-yes and no, same: which bow you are using. and lvl 1 can work nice sometimes. this spell you can lvl if you decide to use only long bows and in particular setups (mostly tactic or per situation) Point shot-no Quote:
dext in short bows are +/- ok but personally i dont use it wits-no, especially not on 5. more range: parabolic shot is enough for marks//hunter doesnt have it (i dont know your class, sorry) damage, conc etc: no cat relexes: some say its useful, i dont use it i have all passive spells on lvl 1, because imo is pointless spending there 5 points just to get some minor "boost". for other classes, i dont know, this is only view from marx and semi hunter. the only nice passive is wild spirit @hunters. hope it ll help

Wits lvl 5 adds about +100 mana. I have that and lightness(passive dex) both maxed at lvl 5.
No to everything else, but i do have both lvl 1 concentration passive buffs(+10 total). |

Archers have little mana. More mana means more spells, or at least one more, plus the spell resistance.
Concentrate on getting the most damage until you are high level enough to go to the war zone, then get evasion. If you are a hunter priorize pets and then tricks and if you are marks, arrow mastery and aiming mastery, then bows. Also, if you have some extra points, the dex passive on short bows is really worth having at lvl 2 or 3. It´s even better than specialist. Remember that until NGD implements a different system (ie, paying gold) you can always reassign points by typing -reset_powers in the chat, although you gotta go to the trainer afterwards to actually assign them again. |
