patching help

soo i just finished downloading/installing and i run it then i attempt to log in and i put in my info then i wait a while then it says cannot connect to auto patch server. can any1 help me fix this or is there a way to mannual patch

normally if it does say so youre either using vista and installed it in some folder you have no right to write into (forum search: windows vista) OR youre behind some firewall that blocks the patchingprocess (forum search: windows vista, firewall) OR the server crashed and was down (just wait some time and try anew). curretnly servers are up.
