noob cant get the game running under ubuntu

Hey people!

I just downloaded the game and installed it. No problem at all. But I don`t get it to work...
This is what I tried up until now.

If I double click the file nothing (it is marked executable)

$MALLOC_CHECK_=1 ./rolauncher
./rolauncher: cannot execute binary file

$MALLOC_CHECK_=0 ./rolauncher
./rolauncher: cannot execute binary file

$ sh -c "cd /home/fos4/regnum && MALLOC_CHECK_=0 ./rolauncher"
./rolauncher: 5: Syntax error: ")" unexpected

Still nothing.....

Anyone who can help me out here?

First. Did you download the 64 or 32 bit version of the game?
Second, please post the output of this command:

I downloaded the 64bit installer
When I installed it there wasn't a problem at all.

Well, you are using a 32-bits version of your distro.
You cannot run 64-bits applications on a 32 bits operatingsystem.

You will need to download the 32-bits installer.

(by the way, how did you see what architecture I have?)

It is stuck getting through my firewall though... ahh well I can probably puzzle that one out

Open in your firewall port 9960 for UDP.
If i'm correct thats the right port
