Well you have most likely been part of one, and it would take a special person to ignore all the faults so, Invasions, the most anticipated feature in Regnum, should it stay or should it go.
If you have the time then also post reasons why you want them on/off your server, though just by looking through the forum for 10 mins you get 100 reasons why they should be dropped.

Obviously its not going to be taken out.
The only thing is just that they should be refined, like all other content. NGD needs to start tuning the game imo instead of adding more content to add to the fix-it list for later on. When we were discussing the idea of invasions months before they were actually announced and it was just a suggestion there was a lot of things that NGD thought out for us, and a lot of things they left out. For example most people expected invasions to be the final step of something bigger. We did not expect invasions to be focused on single targets again, gems. I don't think anyone suggested gems, or capturing any items. Though the idea is nice, it fails imo because just like forts it focuses on single objectives and spams a whole group of players into one area. Its just on a fatter and much more chaotic scale. You still spam your whole army at a single gate. I like the changes NGD thought of without player suggestion, like the timer. But a lot of us expected a land expansion first, the expansion of our own realms territory, being able to capture cities, etc. These were original invasions ideas. Not just another copy and paste gate thing. They could have worked better if players would be able to capture cities, and settle in them, like getting their own save. That was a widely discussed idea, ACTUAL expansion of territory. How many people realize that invasions are really just hopping over the wall and stealing, well I guess that's living up to its name. The intention of my thread, with the poll about pre 1.0 was actually directed at the introduction of invasions.

I know it wont be removed, its to big to be removed, this is a badly worded poll basicaly asking if your happy with invasions or would rather have them "turned off" or something untill the system is working,
On horus the pop is to low for invasions, On Ra the server cant handle invasions, The whole thing is a mess

I think what WZ needs is not to eliminate the invasions, but other alternatives simpler to realise more in reduced groups. That produces clearing, diversity and constant activity through the election of the players and is a change of easy study that can even allow to revalue spaces of the map.

Invasion is the worst bug ever next to putting high lvl mobs into the realm. Both kill the game.
