Exactly how much mana do bosses have?

Note, level 1 Energy Borrow = 10% mana stolen.

Satarco
2012 * 10 = 20,120 mana and he may have more since each borrow filled my mana completely.

Sambro
1652 * 10 = 16,520 mana, another mage with me reported a steal of 1800 mana.

Piz, energy borrow was changed.

Now drain 10% mana at lvl1. 30% mana (i think) at lvl5

Why is it called Energy "Borrow"

It's not like you're going to take the mana and then give it right back (in a usable form for them)
