A disturbing trend in syrtis.

Not trying to be an ass here, but really, do you not have the courage to take an occupied fort? Last week or so you will only go to forts that are unoccupied, at least in alsius during the times i play. Most of the time you easily outnumber us and have mostly archers, conju, and warlock. Is it just rp-whoreism, or are you really afraid to try to take an occupied fort? Personally, i prefer to take forts that have people in them, and i know its not just you and that everyone does it from time to time, but really, every single for you take (lately)?

Im not really bitching so much as curious. (Mostly joking here, just wanted to do more than bitch on a few chronic glitchers).

On a far far more serious note, and no im not at all by any means accusing the entire realm, just a few notable players that continually, time and again, at almost every single fort they are at, glitch it. Hide in places that cannot be attacked by anything other than damage auras. Its cheating, plain and simple. Its not fun and it ruins the game for everyone and just makes your realm look bad. We all know who you are, just stop it. Two certain mid level hunters stand out in my mind here.

How about agg herb ping pong, alga and trelle are just so boring anyways.

Just curious as to what Ignis has noticed as to these two certain hunters, do they do it to you also?

You can do nothing about it.
People in Regnum WZ are free to take whatever forts or RPs they want (or can...).
While you prefer to take occupied forts, i never saw people turn back saying, when at door, "Oh no ! this fort is unoccupied, don't take it...".
Most of the times it is more something like "Let's take this far away unoccupied fort... this will piss them off...".

Do not complain about it in forums, report any suspected cheater to NGD.
Along with screenshots and date/time.
As simple as that.

As a player of a mid-level hunter of Horus/Syrtis, i feel a bit bad about suspicion such post may propage.

No way Alsius is the glitching noob realm and has no skill because they only grind and only come out when our realm wall is in danger and half the time you guys suck and glitch our dragon and cant even kill some mobs. Syrtis is the best and platyna(Spellcheck>.<), my clan leader, is the best also.

Edge isnt the only one that can speak the lols. I can, and Dunmer is pretty good too. Oh, Orimae is getting the hang of it too ^^

I don't think his post was really accusing you of using glitches so much as accusing you of never attacking occupied forts. Being from Ignis we see the same thing. Syrtis is more likely to go to either Shaanarid or Menirah rather than Samal. Even if they have the numbers to capture and even if there aren't many of us on they still choose to take an out of the way empty fort over attacking a main one. I would say that this wasn't the case for the other realms, but its hard to take Herbred when it sits stacked 20+ most of the day.

On topic: Today I observed a group of Alsius bypass a defended Algaros, take the tele to doorless Efe and then move away again when Syrtis showed up to defend the castle. Now I'm not saying this to start a stupid "no u" flame war about these actions, but since you were part of that group, Arcan, you can look at your own logic to understand how Syrtis thinks in a similar situation.

It all boils down to, "We're not enough to do X, let's do Y instead." Of course typical Syrtis idea of how many is enough is kinda skewed from tactics learned as part of zerg.

I feel that many people say "we aren't enough" when they really mean "I don't want risk or challenge". Which is a shame because even number fights are super fun, and it's hard to learn real teamwork when you're part of a zerg overwhelming the enemy with sheer numbers.

It's funny but this is how Syrtis (when I play) usually looks at Samal. Of course you'll say, "But we don't always have 20+ people at Samal!" and I'm sure that's true, just as it's true that we don't have a permanent garrison at Herb either. Please take a step back and realize that perceptions aren't always the truth.

Most of the time when an empty fort is chosen is when just a handfull of us are willing to start a war. So yeah then we chose an empty fort simple because you cant take an occupied fort with 6 ppl.
It is only when a fort is taken more people are willing to join the fight.

If the full zerg moves it is ofc a whole different party

I'd have to agree with you there, but so many times Ignis gets repelled at herb we regroup at Samal just to find Syrtis has taken Menirah to avoid the fight. However, its the case with all realms.

In a sense you hardly ever get to defend your own forts, but this may not be the cowardice of the enemy, maybe more the failure of that realms hunters. Hunters are suppose to be the scouts, moving alone and relaying info, yet all you ever see of them is assassinations. If more hunters did as NGD says they are designed to do they would be able to help a realm defend ANY fort and still collect their RP
