I'm looking for a book!
Maybe you guys can help me, since you are many and I bet most of you have read tons of books!
I'm not looking for a specific author or title that's why I have problems finding something I really want to read about /o\ The thing is - I'd really like to read a crime or detective fiction (or real story D: ) placed in modern times, that involves trains or subways, or youth gangs creating graffitti ;] maybe somebody from forums read something like that and can help me \o/ Most probably the title is avaible in english or even polish so don't hesitate to tell me everything!

I've read many Agatha Christies and my opinion is that they are really nice detectives, the start is sometimes a bit boring but after a couple of chapters it becomes really nice.

Tried Stieg Larsson's Trilogy yet?
http://www.amazon.com/Girl-Dragon-Ta...tt_at_ep_dpi_1 They were pretty hyped over here in Belgium, but I read them and imho they are excellent. (No trains, subways or youth gangs in them though :P)

huge titles like Agatha's Christie books are something basic which I already went through and I'm not really fond of her. And most of all, her books don't fit to what I'm looking for.
The girl with Dragon tattoo doesn't sound too good either /o\ But Inkster's book are interesting, some of them! thanks, I'll try to find them in Poland ;D "Metropolitian Murder", "Underground" and "Taking of Pelham One, Two, Three" seem to be the best for me \o/ Also I hate any love stories/romances in books so the more action and the less emotion, the more Piz is happy ;P edit: ah no, wait -.- first is Victorian, then no ;P
