Switched to Linux a few months ago, and wandered across Regnum so figured I'd have a look and see what's going on

Update: It would appear that Linux and ATI aren't very good friends, so I may not be playing for a while. Must remember to get an nVidia laptop next time

Some say Debian Unstable has Catalyst 9.12 driver support. This shouldn't stop you from playing if you want to poke around debian.

The catalyst drivers for Linux are not very bad. The game runs with the OpenGL renderer under Linux even a bit better than under Windows 7 with OpenGL and Catalyst.

Stupid thing of Catalyst is, that they dont support Xorg 7.5 yet. Hopefully Catalyst 10.1 will change this.
