Sheldo'n says Hello!

Hello everybody!

I'm playing Regnum only from 3 days, but i'm sure, that I will stay with this game for much longer. I'm 23 years old and I came from Poland. I have found Regnum while I was looking for some playable Linux MMORPG (yep, i'm one of the linux gamers). I also play True Combat Elite (mod for ET) and that's all about games in my life. I work as a PHP developer and that's exactly what spends me most time every day. You can find me in game as:

Hi!

Welcome to the game. There are many linux gamers here, as it one of the only and probably the best MMORPG for linux. So you'll have a lot of support if you need it.

I also played TCE once ^^ quite a funny game..

btw what server do you play on? Horus I guess?

even tho im a windows user and i have alota options in terms of games, i still find this to be one of the most addictive mmorpg's ive played so far. im glad to see you're one of my enemies

Yes, you can find me on Horus server. BTW: which server has most players and if there is any possibility to play on Ra server when you don't know Spanish?

I probably won't find you on Horus as I personally play on RA :P

RA is the most crowded server, since it's the first and oldest one. If you create a new account, it will remember where you made it from and thus determine on which servers you may play. If RA is not on your server list, unforunately you may not play on it. If you do see the server on the list, then it will not be so easy to grind a char up, but there's still some English clans left on RA in which you'll find people helping you with any kind of troubles.

RA has got the largest player base.
The majority of the people on RA has Spanish as their first language, but more often than not they also speak English.
Besides, there are English communities and clans there, for example the clan Valhalla in Alsius which I am leader for.

I have a lvl 40 barbarian on Horus, in Ignis, and to me there is a huge difference in the servers not only in population but also in playing style.
The Horus action is way more laidback, tactical and careful (I would say to the point of cowardice) which I don't enjoy.

Wherever you choose to play, I welcome you to the game and hope that you'll enjoy your stay

I am also a Linux user, and have been playing regulary since a bit more than 3 years.
The path to the end-game (lvl 50, with constant RvR action) is pretty long and rough but I would certainly recommend you to keep grinding because it will pay out in the end.

There are many polish clans in each server and realm, you just have to find them

I have played 3h today on Ra server, as Sheldo'n the warrior of course

I get 11 lvl and I didn't make so many mistakes like at the first time. But I will probably spend more time at the Horus - lack of Spanish language skills on Ra is quite embarrassing

@Pizdzius: dobrze wiedzieć, że grupa rodaków jest całkiem liczna

There aren't really any mistakes you can do in-game except for selling good things. Oh, and keep Magnanites, if you find any. You'll be able to buy good equipment with them. They're worth quite a lot nowadays.

If you mean doing mistakes by skilling the wrong powers, you can always reverse that by entering /reset_powers into the console and go training again
