What do I need to get this going? I downloaded the launcher but after I hit play, the screen resets and I'm still at my desktop.

Try running it from a console to see any error output.

What video card do you have? Have you installed the correct drivers?

I have a gf5200 with the latest drivers. It doesn't seem to run from the terminal. I assume thats what you mean. is there a special command I need to use?

I mean, open an xterm, go to regnum directory and type ./rolauncher.

i'm new to linx so pardon my relative ignorance. I forgot about ./ . After running from a terminal, it is now updating.
