the weather
http://www.sat24.com/
please, cloudies, a little bit to the east >< this summer we noted a record heat level (55 degrees on black, farmable ground), while in Arctica where usually isn't very cold and animals live, was noted record cold level, -50 I wouldn't call it global warming or climat change, it's just natural weather is changing all the time (like Greenland was called greenland for a reason, people actually had citrus farms there during medieval/rennesaince times) and then came a little ice age when we could walk on feet from Poland to Sweden on Baltic sea, cause it was so deeply frozen (and many Jewish ppl built taverns on the way ) The reason I am making this post is the awful heat we're experiencing in Poland, no wind at all and I almost prayed since June for a little rain. Today, at last, clouds came for the first time really, but it's still 33 degrees in shadow. I sympathise with all my heart with people from Italy and France, where I've heard the scorching temperature is unbearable. Here in Poland, many people died already of the heat, including some close ones to me. Please, be careful and please, tell me about your rainy day.

Germany had some rain the last few nights, but its not changing the heat at all.
Atm were somewhere between 28-33 degrees or something. But this wont be for long cause were about to hit 37-40 degrees this wednesday. But meh, we had a cold winter and the answer was a warm summer. ;D

I sympathise with everyone who experienced discomfort.
Now I have no clue how bad the winters are but I can imagine the discomfort in the choking heat. Well , a quick check of my location would tell you that I live in the tropics about 12 degrees north of the equator. Because of this We all are actually quite used to a normal shade daytime temp of 32-33 degrees Celsius and about 40 to 44 in the direct sun. Night time could go from 25-30 in the summer and swell to 33 in the hurricane season. Daytime to 36 in the shade with no wind and 95% humidity. All of this all year round in my country make us practically acclimatised to such extremes. None of our locals actually suffer any heatstroke of any kind. We actually go to the beach . The worst part in the European case I suspect is the lack of wind to move the stifling heat off, not only that but combined with high humidity it could be a killer. Fortunately, being an island, except for when storms approach, we have the maritime effect to cool us off. So, even if it is 40 C outside, you can still move around because the wind wicks the heat off you. For what it is worth I hope the temperatures moderate for you all. I have seen the horrible effects that heat can have on the unprepared (tourists to my country). Artec |

We're not unprepared, it's just that it's a heat record, the ground is broken already, and after the giant flood we have a drought. It rained today in few parts of the country fortunately, unfortunately not where I live ;p Having a -35 during winter and +45 during summer really ticks us off
