Confuse: keep or remove?
I only put a poll because I am curious about the numbers.
Here's Confuse(4) description: (every Archer who seeks an unchallenging fight skills confuse to level 3/4) I still don't get how some people(including NGD) do not see how over powered that spell is. It pratically cripples every class under its effect. The first person to cast Confuse wins, that's how fights currently work. If it was intended to be used on RvR battles to disable Conjurers that keep supporting enemies, then why can't it just be ''cannot cast supportive powers'', so the conjurer wouldn't get totally disabled. It would also solve the problem where the first one to cast confuse wins the fight because it wouldn't have such a big impact. Challenging fights like one Hunter Vs. someone with a support Conjurer would make my own version of Confuse more tactical and RvRish. ill be fair, i voted keep, because of the dmg, pet and rest of the nerfs, i dont really use it in live, but i will use it after the update, i dont really care what ppl think, i also could say that def stance is OP vs a archer, that a barb with max speed and kick 4 and feint 4 is to OP, etc etc.

I suggest changing the effect instead of removing it completly:
Cannot cast non damaging powers on other players maybe short duration 5-25 or 4-20 seconds. This would mean that conjus could be still disabled with it but for a shorter time and leaving the ability to dispel it or to cast defensive spells like steel skin or sanct. It would be still usefull on attacking classes against stuff like feint, roar, dl, mind push, slow, silence, tm, freeze, will domain, ambush, dist. shot and many more. |

I voted remove. Not removing the spell entirely, but remove the current one and replace it with a balanced confuse.

Remove or alter it. My poor hunter's damage gets nerfed because cowards with this single spell are overpowered. :/
The first poll answer should be remove or change it, quite many players like the idea behind confuse, but dislike the current version of it, as it's too strong. |

I'd vote "keep with modifications" too.
All it needs is reduced duration, maybe some reduced cooldown to compensate. The current duration is way too long, especially now with the trend towards short-burst high-effect powers.

I voted remove.
A spell that is more useful in war, maybe an area dizzy or something would be much cooler.

I think this pool is not complete...need at least two mor option:
-Reduce duration and make to cost more mana. -Make 50% chance. Lmao resurect one persone has 50% chance and confuse has 100% impact long effect for low mana cost.... Is idiotic and has no logic for me. Also all spells now ..well almoust have very very short duration ...but this spell has 30 sec effect? lololol.... Actual amun game play is based on tons of buffs for short time..... |

I wouldnt say remove, just change it so that conjurers can counter it even when alone and reduce the duration to 15 (maximum 20 seconds) like the rest of the existing Crowd Controls.
Making it a Dizzy would be even worse, Confuse would be OK if it was a "prevent supporting allies" debuff, for instance: Conjus cant heal, Locks cant Synergy, Hunters cant Stalker, Barbs cant OWTH, Knights cant cast auras, etc. Right now it's a "the hell with you Conjurers, you cant support nor support yourselves, now DIE!". But, in case NGD doesnt want to change it, then Remove it! Edit: Quote:
