Repeated Crashes
Sorry if this isn't the right spot...
Ever since the last hotfix, my character freezes, and I get a message about network connection failed. When I try to log back in, it either freezes on the username/password screen, or the world selection screen. Sometimes it gets as far as verifying sources, and it says 'server unavailable c012. I've cleared caches, run CCleaner, added a NIC in place of my onboard, and power cycled my modem and router. Nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

Can you run an endless ping meanwhile in cmd?
I don't remember what arguments the ping command accepts on Windows, but there should be one to keep it going until it receives Ctrl+C. Ping google or similar, and check if you get a timeout when your character freezes in-game. If you don't, try removing the *.sdb and *.idx files in your Regnum directory to redownload all resources again. If that also does not work, uninstall Regnum, remove the folder and reinstall again. Chances are something is corrupted in your installation.

The ping suggestion didn't tell me anything interesting. I've uninstalled, gotten rid of the folder, run CCeaner, restarted, redownloaded the client, and am in the process of reinstalling. I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks for the input!

Remove *.idx files and more as needed. I had a similar bug due to corrupted files.

Game installed now, but not loading files, keeps saying connection to autopatch server failed.
Wouldn't removing the folder take care of this by itself?

I've had this problem since the last event ended. I kept getting the same error message as you and everything froze after typing in pass or clicking world. I totally rebooted cpu and reinstalled ro, and problem was fixed. Dunno what was wrong but that's how i got rid of the problem.
