Brutal FPS drop after xmas update

i got brutal FPS drop after xmas update
i had 150FPS 1920x1200 Full detail shadows disabled, now after xmas update i have 3-30 FPS on same settings and 18FPS ON SAFE MODE!!!
when i looking in wall, 10-12FPS when i moving, now i just cant play!

NGD dont touch code when it working! ~14days ago surak repired bug in oGL and i was happy, now its all in ass again!

OS:Archlinux x86_64
NVIDIA Driver Version:260.19.29
GPU:GeForce GTX 260

I was about to open a thread too...
I have a performance drop too but not as extreme as in your case. It's quite close to the FPS I had before the fix

Plus a thing that is more annoying:
I run like 20 meters and the game will "freeze" for part of a second. Then I can run some distance and it re-occurs almost periodically. The frame counter drops from ~70 to 35 then. But it actually is rather like a short freeze and very annoying.
On Amun I don't have this problem. I also reloaded all the ressources and changed settings. No effect. Until the christmas event everything was fine.

ArchLinux 64Bit
Nvidia GTS 250 (260.19.29)

Intel Pentium 4 3.06 ghz x2

I use to play with 40-35 fps on fixed pipeline, with constant freezes because of my cpu, but now I have 5-15 fps.

Hi,

We're almost sure that this is about a broken resource. Please try to search which of the creatures, buildings, etc. may be causing this when entering your view range.

We are looking for the problem too, but any help will be appreciated.

I already suspected the new mounts as the source of problem but seems not to be the case.
I tried on various locations (syrtis between pp and central save and in rasius bay). The similarities there are rocks, trees and grass (and the sky

)
But recently I discover a big breakdown in cities even worse than it used to be

It will be no easy task to find the ressource

This happens on DirectX in Fisgael where the new Christmas Tree is. The tree also looks a bit weird. I don't know if that's related or if it is the same FPS drops that were happening before.

+i think i have +300>MiB VM then before ( when i using safe mode) now i have 990MiB VM in safe mode, but i had like 500-600MiB before xmas update in safe mode.
