Data Usage From CoR

At the moment, I don't have internet other than my phone's, but my plan limits me to 14GB a month. So, I am wondering how much data CoR uses (an exact amount or educated estimate is welcome) uses in a hour of playing, so that I can properly monitor the amount I use.

My last estimate was roughly 500 meg a day for 3 to 4 hours of play, though things may have changed in 5 months from when I did such a thing.

CoR has very high data usage for basic things compared to other games. Walking around on your own ~3.6kb/s. Standing around the save with maybe 10 players 8.6kb/s. Decent battle 25kb/s. Really huge war looking at 50kb/s.

Many places offer free wi-fi, from coffee houses and restaurants to hotels and universities. Also many people never password their private wi-fi connections so you can sniff those out, too.

I have used a 10Gb limit connection with 2 people running RO in the same house as well as XBOX live and only went over the usage twice. dont D/L games/movies you should be golden

I used my mobile data plan, 1gb and was fine for 1 month you should be fine :-)

I just timed myself. I logged in to transfer gear and reset. Afked a lot as well, but it was taking up 1MB every 5min, and in about a hour it had taken 12-15MB. I didn't really war (fought like 3 people), so it could increase by a decent amount during wars, but that is at least good enough to be able to grind and hunt.
