Gameplay:

I wonder if by movement issues they mean those damn collision detection bugs. Also it would have been nice to see the Loading Screen bug fixed (new one that prevents you from rezzing at gate or altar and all u hear are environment sounds) would have been nice, 3 aura bug and some others, new quests, server migration service (Ra --> Horus that niclam had mentioned was a possible implementation), fixed quests, additions for time zone balance (part of invasion fixes who knows), etc... But I guess we can take what we get.

tho i am at least glad they are still working.

to be honest, i rather enjoyed the uniqueness of playing utghar. not wearing a helmet, but getting extra con was kinda cool. does this mean utghar will get fewer hp on level ups? can anyone confirm this is working, before i run out and buy helmet i cant use?

these ones interest me the most, and i hope they really do come to ra soon.

im a grinder, i love mindlessly grinding because im an insomiac and because its soothing. i find in other mmorpgs ive played, ive simply spent hours grinding, get to my max level and then move on..i dunno why but thats how i like to play. Im glad regnum has an alternative (the wz and better equip from drops) so i wont be bored when i reach that "level limit"

quest indicator would help others like me who only do the quests to blow through them when theyd rather just grind and get the same xp in less times in most cases. what i hated was walking everywhere and talking to everyone..that was frustrating since the crier did not remove names from the list once youve completed them. as well as sometimes id talk to people and the quest button would appear..id click it and it would say quest already completed..what a tease.


like a previous poster i hope this fixes the way a player can walk around terrain objects, because as much as i like making enemy realm people follow me as i run through agressive mobs and weave around rocks and seeing them doing the warp..it needs to go. ive died a few times because of that as well :(

Dunno why they removed the fatigue system but i am sure they are trying to fix the prob with speed hack.

I'd wish they rather would let Utghar's wear helmets, get the benefit of its special properties but not the armour, and let them keep the extra 5 points. Taking away all points from *the* most useful stat Constitution seems unfair, imo, and a slap in the face to all who spent money on levelling an Utghar character and might have chosen different if they had known about this change beforehand.

Also, after checking Amun, the behaviour where you can cast an area inside realm, click the teleporter and let it go off outside, is not fixed, I'd consider this fix top priority, as it completely wrecks the possibility for invading certain realms on Horus (that does this en masse).

Please don't remove fatigue! I will miss it a lot, many people will play more than 4 hours a day (!!!) and it can cause serious health problems and possible loss of sanity!

I would have preffered more exp instead of removing fatigue. But thats just me. This update is bigger than invasions for me.

Can NGD please list in the changelog all the spells that changed animation? There were so many new :p

surak says they fixed the logging inside enemy realms after the gate has been restored too :)

downgraded: game does not provide an interface for players to trade with others and the game does not provide an armory for clans as all other games. all users "exploiting" the LACK OF GAME MECHANICS are punished.

other things downgraded with the latest updates too:

realm imbalance: realm imbalance WAS "a serious issue to be addressed" so the realm with the least players (mostly randomly picked up) was given a bonus (crappy).

as of version 1.0 the realm with most players were given a chance to raise their realm bonus (by having the ability to zerg and invade other realms) so the realm with the least players will have a smaller bonus than the realm with most players.

hunters: all complaints about hunters being too strong and being able to kill easy targets are finally addressed and hunters are forced to be the class they are meant to be
- not able to stand up to ANYONE who is at the same level 1v1 (except a hunter) and have no other choice than to run. (which ofcourse is complained about - he ran away from me omg wtf it's a freaking hunter that hit me 2% of my hp and he run away! ..try having fun there and wanting to fight - when the only option given is to run)

finally hunters are forced to seek out enemies that are "really easy" - so the "really easy" enemies can be annoyed by the hunters that kill them and they can complain about hunters more (and ultimately get what they want, no hunter can kill unch guy 1v1.. oh my that would be fun..). and this leads to more complaining from players as hunters are always getting them when they are low-level and then hunters "FINALLY" have no other option than only camo or run OR SEEK OUT someone who is low enough level. not just fun. not for me.

some people may think save camping is fun, or killing an unchallenging opponent out of camo is fun or something.. I don't know.. I want a good fight and I really miss those battles. I really do. when we had equal chances it was fun.. there's no fun in finding easy targets, it's just some fckn rp's that mean nothing, absolutely nothing.

I want to be able to fight against other level 50 char's with my hunter, I want to be able to be usefull at war, but what goddamn choices does this game give me???????

Spending about 200€ on this, and for what? hope? to have fun?

what did I get.. a possibility to start the game all over again with another character that is "fun" to play.
well I did so and then.. you know the story, mob evades, skills etc.. you know the drill and the fun that comes with it..

so the "FUN" maybe await me after months of more "FUN" spending endless amounts of money and time "grinding" (that seems to be the most "fun" part of the game) as I can not dedicate more time to this game than I used to.

That's not a balance problem :p Knights are the only class that's downright impossible for me to take down in a sane manner (not the typical hit-n-run for 45 minutes) 1v1. The rest are fine.

Okey scratch that, you can't usually take SM miniguns 1v1 anymore, but I guess not many people can. This is probably the next big nerf anyway, only a matter of time in my eyes.

About dual log: Hm, yeah it's a bit of a hassle for those who actually need it for what you said...

PS: Seriously, PM me if you want to talk about hunter setups and how to use them.

Well I'm playing a hunter too, and all classes are doable if you take it the right way, even knights, if they don't use mindsquasher on your pet. Only thing is, it's way harder to escape now because you don't evade in heavy fire with SotW.

Back on topic, the new spell animations look awesome.
There's one bug, when you cast protector there's no animation and you'll be stuck in the casting animation until you move.

For example you must have your weapon already drawn before casting anything or the animation will never apear.

Hmm, some criticism at the new knight moves. I am wearing 139 kg of armor and weapons and I can still move and jump around like I'm a ninja in pajamas. Also why do I shake so much and make a split every time I cast a spell? It looks not really knightish, knights wear heavy armor and are not ninjas :p I like the new animations in general, especially the running in combat mode one and the different attack animations.

I tried it for knights and barbarians and saw the new distinctive buffs for archers. Now that each spell has a distinctive buff its awesome, the only one I liked really though was Martial Reflexes, which is now just glowing hands. I like the buff animation for barbarians and the attack animations are also big improvements.

Anyway the only problem I can find is that the animations are very rapid fast. Theres alot of shaking and overall it looks kind of like Regnum running 5X as fast. I suggest to slow it down a notch

But I personnaly don't like the new running while holding and spell casting animation for barbarians because its almost the exact same one as in runescape. Its going to take awhile for me at least, to get used to these new animations. They feel more cartoonish imho. Now everyone will be spinning and jumping.


There's one bug, when you cast protector there's no animation and you'll be stuck in the casting animation until you move.
Its also like that for Troll Skin, maybe its not a bug. As long as the spell is active so is the splits pose.
