i was trying to decide where to put my points when i created my character. i see that concentration makes physical and magic attacks more precise. what does this mean? precise generally implies accuracy, or exactness. does this mean my critical chance is increased?(since I'm hitting exactly where i aim?) or does it mean i get + to hit?

it means ur normal hits are harder but if u a archer also work on dex or a mage work on intel

I also noticed that when we level, our stats increase anyway. so does it really matter where we put the points in the beginning?

No it is how often you hit. Dex is how hard you hit in archers and Int is for mages and Str is for warriors.

I thought concentration was critical hit chance. Since the archer passive spell for concentration says something to do with critical hits.
I think concentration increases you hit chance and also increase your chance to get a critical hit as well.

If you look for Megrim's reply to a similar post in the Spanish forums you'll see that:
Intelligence = Chance of evading spells (magic cast at you). Maybe (not clear from the post(s)) changes ammount and/or regen time for mana.
Concentration = Chance of hit and critical hit with any weapon or spell. Concentration is the only attribute that affects hit chance.
Constitution = Rate of health regen and maybe health ammount.
Dexterity = Evasion chance against non-magical weapons. That's all, nothing else.
Strength = never mentioned in the thread(s).

or the char menu.
im totally confused what all these skills are good for and anyone u ask has a diffrent opinion. I hope the devs themselves now.

Dexterity (for archers) also increases your damage with your bow. I put all my points on dexterity. Sometimes I wish I put them on concentration though.

I'm sure those are all true, but they probably do more than that:
- Int should also increase magic damage.
- Dex should also increase ranged damage.
- Str should increase melee evasion chance if you follow the trend (but that doesn't actually make much sense, if you think about it), but at least should increase melee damage.
Dexterity (for archers) also increases your damage with your bow. I put all my points on dexterity. Sometimes I wish I put them on concentration though.
Amen. Marksman misses are annoying as hell.
