I've noticed something when I piggyback, (I'm sure others have thought about it too) The thing is, when I get an evade on my first hit, then piggyback a spell I notice the spell is evaded too. This is always the case.
So I believe NGD's evade system works on random parts in time, not a % chance when you are attacking. Another example of this same system is found in dropping. When I kill a monster and get a drop, if I kill another monster VERY fast after the one I just killed I will get another drop. Same thing goes for area kills, I can confirm this about 3 times. Another thing in it is the fact that the 2nd drop will have the same level as the 1st drop. I think Comp was talking about this awhile ago, just confirming it. That's some insight on NGD's system anyway. Evades and drop chance are around us every second, even when we are standing, just only when we happen to trigger them during a time like that (killing a mob, or attacking) then we see it. |

Fayablasta Is the knight, Faith is a Barb, though I do have a knight on Ra
And playing him recently its bloody hard to kill any player... even if he stands still it takes a year... Then if its an Archer he can LP and laugh at you as he runs off... So yeah I may as well just ditch the weps and only project auras out of my arse...

Sure I still have loads of hp, but I block like shit, now even a barb can block more then me...or better, even mobs block more then I do.. I also play a hunter and a conjurer and although I've noticed the same problems with resists and evades from both mobs and players, it doesn't affect me as much as it does to my knight, and that's probably b/c of the range. Warriors were never 30% of alsius' population (i can't speak for other realms although I think this is not true in ignis and syrtis as well), and at this rate, they won't be 5%... Knights were already the slowest leveling class in the game, now it's even worse...

I find a good way to guess the populations of each realm per class is to look at the rankings and see how many level 50's of each class each realm has, some have over 30, and some have quit, so its in no way accurate, but its a good way to guess and clearly shows that There are a load more mages and archers around than warriors.

How can i have 21/40 off my normal hits evaded when i have a hit chance of ~800 ?

There is only so far that "Its random" can be used as an excuse.
For god's sakes fix it and do it quickly it makes playing marksman rather hard, i use normals to do over 65% of my damage
