Taker tells me that in America a gallon of gas costs $3.50, he says in the summer he expects it to rise to $5. I remeber when it just crossed the $2 per Gallon like it was yesterday :/

And that repeats everyday, it just keeps falling, falling ,and falling. I feel the world is coming to another recession. Food prices shot up. By the way here in Poland we got a freaking Liter of gas for more than a gallon of gas in the US.

Isn't a Gallon 3 liter? So in the US they pay 3,50/3=1,17 dollar for one liter.

The Currency calculator (http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html) tells me that it's 0, 76 euro for one liter. Here, in the Netherlands we pay a little less than 1,50 euro for one liter, which is twice as expensive. Imagine paying 7 dollar for 1 gallon.

They are not getting more expensive... I mean, gold didn't suddenlly dissapear and now is harder to find.

This items are all mesured in dollars. When you see a general increase of price index, that's a inflationary process. USA is having a resession. And everytime Bush (well, some of his henchmen, he is still reding that lamb book) makes a decision, stocks all around the globe fall and fall. They got a storm coming. And they don't seem to be getting quite prepared... they actually seem like bravehearth when they are all lifting their skirts.

I don't mind they having their resession, but they are gonna drag us all down... That's why some countries are already moving their funds, trying to not depend that much of the dollar, in order to be prepared for the worse.

you still don't realise one thing. The money we have is a money as debt. It doesn't exist. We just work the way out of the debt. We are slaves. The banks lend us credits out of nowhere. The Central Federal Bank has some limit of "nonexisting" money. That's why the inflation still grows, the people who rule the world are going to create another BLACK friday or whatever it's called, the economy will collapse, just as they want, then they will introduce new Amero money, strong and expensive just like they did long time ago with Dollar.

yes, smart people can make money on this, and they are doing it, making the inflation go up and up even more. Investors pull back to asia, but soon it's gonna collapse too.

Well the economic system is the best we have at the time being. Inflation is normal, but only under 2% a year (if I recall right).

You are right, banks loan money they don't have, that's called secondary money creation (the main one being actaully printing money XD). However that's how the wheel spins. Even by creating extra money, and increasing prices, there should be no problem as long as salaries are also increased with the extra money that enters the system. This is THEORY. Sadly in practice money is not distributed and then we have the problems we know.

Believe me, it took me a LOT of effort and time to become skilled in this language. English is for me like looking back to the road when you're at the top of the hill.

I don't watch drama-romance films, but I got to admit that I improved my English because of a girl (now she's just a friend, things change :P) xD

If you want to learn english just read it, if you dont understand a word, translate it with google, or use a dictionary.. translate songs, like opeth's ones, the lyrics are pretty complex, with lots of unusual words, like reel, pace, haze [...].


If you want to learn a language just for a chick something it's wrong with you, anyway, even if it doesn't work (and it won't) you will become more skilled with it.

I know, whats the point of using words that nobody uses? i meant words that it good to know, but you can live without them.

What the point of learning words that you will never write or read in a normal conversation?

Fulminate? Thats a pretty normal word..

Al romance languages have 11 (some 10) tenses :ohill:

That's why I get messed up with the time in English.

Pace isn't unusual. Haze isn't used a lot, but it's often used in the forecast. Reel... I never used that one. xD

The spanish equivalent to fulminate and savourlessness are pretty common.

The best way to learn english is to read a LOT, to watch some videos on youtube from MobuzzTV, IMHO.
